Special traffic instructions from DMP for the opening of the elevated road
Today, Saturday, the Dhaka Elevated Expressway from Kawla to Tejgaon will be opened by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Today, Saturday, the Dhaka Elevated Expressway from Kawla to Tejgaon will be opened by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The first event will take place at the former site of an international trade fair in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, the capital.
The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has given several traffic directives Bangladesh before of the inaugural ceremony to ensure normal traffic and effective parking management. The DMP has advised the public to obey the rules today while driving.
DMP disclosed this in a press release on Friday. It said there will be a large crowd at the inaugural ceremony of the Dhaka Elevated Expressway with guests coming from different parts of the country, including VVIPs, VIPs, diplomats, ministers, MPs, top government officials and eminent citizens.
Today, Saturday, the Dhaka Elevated Expressway from Kawla to Tejgaon will be officially opened by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

This was revealed by DMP in a news release on Friday. It was stated that a sizable crowd, including VVIPs, VIPs, ambassadors, ministers, MPs, senior government officials, and eminent individuals, would attend the opening ceremony of the Dhaka Elevated Expressway.
On Saturday, the following city crossings and points will either be closed or diverted: the road from 60 Feet to Rokeya Sarani via the Agargaon Light Crossing, the eastern end of the Love Road, the Shishu Mela crossing, Shyamoli,
The following roads and locations have also been requested to be avoided by the DMP: the entry of the new road on the south side of Suhrawardy Hospital, the entry of the roads towards the gate of Agricultural University, the road from the Defence Ministry Gap to BICC crossing through the Planning Commission, Aarong intersection, Manik Mia Avenue, and the stretch from Bangabandhu Chattar to Indira road, Taltala in Rokeya Sarani, Agargaon Light Crossing area, and the
Residents of the city may only utilize the roadways from Shyamoli to the eastern side of Manik Mia Avenue in accordance with the DMP’s special traffic arrangement. However, emergency service vehicles and patient-carrying vehicles will not be covered by the rules.
